Daniel O'Donoghue has joined Aristocrat Interactive as chief operating officer, transitioning from his previous role at Light & Wonder. The appointment was confirmed on July 2, 2026, after O'Donoghue shared the announcement on LinkedIn.

O'Donoghue will oversee daily operations and strategic execution across the company's online real money gaming division. He acknowledged the confidence placed in him by the executive team, specifically noting CEO Dylan Slaney's support for the transition. The new COO emphasized that his focus will center on implementing the company's growth roadmap and coordinating with internal departments to expand market reach."I am very excited to be on this ambitious team as we seek to execute on our strategy and deliver on the growth potential of the business," O'Donoghue stated. The executive change occurs alongside recent expansion plans for the company's content division. In May, Aristocrat Interactive announced that its subsidiary NeoGames Studio would introduce its game portfolio to the German market through a distribution partnership with Lotto24.
